 Gertrude’s House has proudly provided service and support to Breast Cancer Warriors and their caregivers in the Metro Atlanta Area since 2017. We strive to be of assistance to those affected by this disease, with services aimed to lessen the burdens on the road to recovery.

 
 
 

Walk it Out 2024

Another day bringing awareness to Breast Cancer. Highlighting the importance of self exams and mammograms.

This year the founder of Gertrude’s House, Brenda Grissom is a 40 year survivor of her first diagnosis of Breast Cancer. She shares this only to be an inspiration to someone going through treatment. She comments that it’s only by Gods Grace that she along with the GH team can help others

Rhonda Williams founder of our sister group, Thriving and Surviving nominated, Brenda Grissom, founder of Gertrude's House and Omesha Slade, Chairman of the Board, to this year’s ceremony.

Unfortunately, Omesha was unable to make it to the event.
